The Maine Coon is one of the largest cat breeds. It has a semi-long shaggy, water-resistant coat. They have long, bushy tails and large oval eyes. Coats can be any pattern or color. Adult male cats range from 13 – 18 pounds and females between 9 to 13 pounds. They are known to be very calm cats who like to relax and observe. They do like to be around people and get along well with kids, dogs and other cats. They are easy to train, and they love to play fetch.
